What is the technology you use?

The DepositBook Platform is designed and developed to cater to global Banks, financial institutions and corporates around the world. To ensure superior developer maintainability of the Platform, the application source code is maintained in separate Frontend and Backend repositories that are deployed on ElasticBeanstalk via its native CI.

The Platform hosts 4 main stakeholders:

• Depositor – (The Depositor)
• Partner Bank - (Deposit Taking Institution)
• Custodian Bank – (Hosting Depositor’s Central Account)
• DepositBook – (Operations & Risk Management Executives)

Application hosts 4 different portals on unique web-locations for each stakeholder. The Frontend is developed using the React.js JavaScript framework and the Backend is designed using Restful API principles in Python and its data stored and operated in a relational database system – PostgreSQL.
